Red StarFish (Fromia Indica)

Nothing screams ‘marine aquarium’ quite like starfish, does it?! Unfortunately, most sea star species are unfortunately actually not suitable for life in our reef tanks.

One of the tentative exceptions is the genus Fromia, including the common red Fromia starfish (F. milleporella). Although these stars are still not easy to keep alive in captivity, experienced aquarists with the right type of set-up should find it possible.
