Out of the Blue Marines – Refund & Return Policy



At Out of the Blue Marines, we take great care in ensuring the health and quality of all our livestock and products. Due to the sensitive and delicate nature of marine animals, we have a strict returns and refunds policy as outlined below:

Livestock (Corals, Fish, Invertebrates)

All livestock sales are final.

  • We do not accept returns or offer refunds for livestock once it has been delivered or collected.
  • This policy is in place to protect the health of the animals, as stress from transport and environmental changes can be harmful or fatal.
  • Customers agree to this policy and our full Terms of Service at the point of purchase.


 

Dry Goods (Equipment, Supplies, Accessories)

 

  • Returns on unused dry goods are accepted within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is in its original, unopened packaging and in resalable condition.
  • Refunds for eligible returns will be issued once the item is received and inspected.
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

 

DOA (Dead on Arrival) Policy

  • In rare cases where livestock arrives dead on arrival, we may offer a credit or partial refund at our discretion.
  • Clear photographic evidence must be provided within 2 hours of delivery for any DOA claims.
  • DOA claims are not valid if delivery was missed or rescheduled, or if incorrect acclimation procedures were followed.
