Iridescent Wrasse (Thalassoma iridis)

The Iridis Wrasse, also known as the Iridescent Wrasse, is a stunning and energetic species renowned for its intense colours and shimmering sheen. Native to the Red Sea and Western Indian Ocean, this wrasse displays vibrant greens, blues, and purples with contrasting markings that catch the light beautifully as it swims.

Highly active and constantly on the move, the Iridis Wrasse adds excitement and personality to larger marine aquariums. Best suited to fish-only or robust mixed systems, it thrives in spacious tanks with plenty of open swimming room and rocky hiding places.
